Homeowner’s Association

Traditions at Longwood is governed by a Board of Directors who are elected by fellow property owners. The Board is supported by seven resident-led Committees which include Architecture, Communications, Facilities, Finance, Landscaping, Long Range Planning and Social. It is our resident volunteers who help make this a great community and minimize operating costs.

The Association is guided by governing documents and by-laws. Click on the button at the bottom of the page to view them.

What do the HOA fees at Traditions of Longwood cover?

Snow Removal:
The HOA contracts with a vendor who will remove snow once accumulation reaches two inches. Snow is cleared from driveways, the walkway to the front door, and community eyebrows. East Marlborough Township is responsible for plowing our named streets, and the community contractors will not begin clearing driveways and walkways until the township has plowed the streets.

Trash and Recycling:
Trash and recycling are collected once a week on a designated day.

Lawn Maintenance:
The HOA contracts with vendors that provide resident lawn care and turf applications, maintenance of builder beds ( the plantings in front of each resident), fall leaf cleanup, common area tree trimming and maintenance of all common grounds, including lawns, garden beds, wetlands, ponds and storm water management systems.

Pool Maintenance:
The HOA is responsible for the yearly opening, maintenance, and closing of the community pool.

Clubhouse Maintenance:
This includes the upkeep and cleaning of the two community centers, as well as maintaining supplies used for various social events.

What don’t the HOA fees cover?

The community does not maintain individual resident landscaping beds (other than builder planted beds) and trees that are not located on common property or that were planted by individual residents. Repairs to and maintenance of driveways, roofs, siding, walkways from driveway to front door, decking, and patios are the responsibility of TAL owners and are not included in HOA fees.
